It’s amazing how time and experience changes your perspective. When I watched the last episode of fresh prince of Bel Air I had a much different view than now.

Spoiler alert: In case you’re not up to date with 90s sitcoms, you might not want to continue with this post!

So in the final episode of Fresh Prince of Bel Air, the entire cast has new plans that involve moving out of the mansion. Everyone is confident of their new future except for Will. Will in unsure of the future and has not followed through on any plans of jobs or living arrangements. While everyone is excitedly chatting about their future, Will is stressing and avoiding discussion about what he's going to do. He then begins to make up some elaborate plan to cover for the fact he has no idea what he is going to do. Eventually the family finds out that he has no idea what he's going to do and that he is sad that his family is “moving on “ without him. As in true 90’s family sitcom fashion, they reassure him that they will always be family and will keep in touch regardless of each individual's new future.

So why am I bringing up some sitcom from long ago? I can now totally relate to Will. In many ways, when I locked the door one last time at my Blue Ash Apartment in Cincinnati, I was Will. I had no clear route to our future. All I knew was we were moving to Columbus, OH to pursue Justen’s (my hubby, lover, and friend) career. But what will I do in this new town? Im leaving behind my intermediate family and and close friends in Cincy to the unknown. I’ve never lived in another city and never went away to college in another town so I have no experience in this area of moving to a new town. I quit my job to stay home with my kids and to eventually pursue areas I'm more passionate in.

Married, preggo, new town, preggo. All in that order and all in 3 years… All while rediscovering what makes my free time me time. This is me recording the crazy..buckle up for the ride.

LOLs and Hugs,

Daria
